LESA is now South Sound 911
In January 2013, the Law Enforcement Support Agency (LESA) became part of South Sound 911, a consolidated public safety answering point (PSAP) providing 911 and dispatch for law enforcement, fire and emergency medical service (EMS), and records management and technology services for law enforcement. South Sound 911 member agencies include Pierce County, the City of Tacoma, the City of Lakewood, the City of Fife, and West Pierce Fire & Rescue. Through those entities, South Sound 911's community includes most of Pierce County, Wash., and extends into King and Lewis Counties.
We look forward to an exciting future as South Sound 911 and we encourage you to visit our website frequently to learn of important changes and improvements. In the meantime, you will continue to be able to access public and online services as usual.
For emergencies, dial 911. If you have a non-emergency please call (253) 798-4721 [voice/TTY], or in-state out-of-area callers may dial toll-free (800) 562-9800.
Additionally, South Sound 911's public counter provides services such as concealed pistol licenses (CPLs), public records requests, fingerprinting, criminal history inspections, and accident report requests. If you have questions about these services that are not answered on our Information Services page, please call (253) 798-7441.
